Theatre credits close to Karenssa’s heart include: Cosette in LES MISERABLES at Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Antonia in MAN OF LA MANCHA at Musical Theatre West, and Christine Daae in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA conducted by Carmen Dominguez. And, of course, all of the Heather Reba original musicals she has been blessed to partake in.
Karenssa holds a B.A. in Music from UCLA, completed Meisner Training at The Ruskin School of Acting, and recently trained with Larry Moss.
When her work does not take her far and away, she splits her time between San Diego & Los Angeles.

Since then, Karenssa has moved into Film. First she Co-Directed & Co-Produced, "Capture", a 15 minute psychological thriller with fellow filmmaker, John Freeman. The two teamed up once more to Co-Direct "In the Absence of Eden", a 5 minute short film and semi-finalist in the international film competition: Women Making A Scene.
Currently, Karenssa is in development with "In the Absence of Eden" writer, Erica Livingstone, on the feature film version of the story by the same name.
Karenssa is also Executive Producer on "Moving Out", a short film fiscally sponsored by Film Independent.
Karenssa has been lucky to work on a variety of film projects as a Casting Director and Casting Associate.
